Reiki I & II Class Information & Registration

Reiki I & II are often taught together during a two day weekend intensives. However, at this time, I am also offering them as two separate trainings. All attunements will be given. All the information and techniques, according to the International Center for Reiki Training is covered.
Large classes will be held in Costa Mesa.
Small classes will be held in Newport Beach.
Class location & directions will be emailed to students upon registration.
REIKI I CLASS ~ $150 ~ 9am-4pm
WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN THE REIKI I CLASS: In this one-day class you will learn what Reiki is, the different levels of Reiki, how the attunement process works. How Reiki works. What Reiki can heal. The history (both Japanese and Western) of Reiki. Several Reiki meditations such as Gassho, Reiji-ho, and the Byosen Scanning (for others and self), and Kenyoku techniques, Reiki hand positions for self and treatment on others, as well as Reiki I Attunment. Ample time will be given for students to practice the Reiki hand positions on other students, as well as practice any other processes taught. Handouts are included in class for students only registered in the Reiki I class. For students registered in both Reiki I & II classes, they will receive 'Reiki, The Healing Touch' manual in this class.
REIKI II CLASS ~ $200 ~ 9am-4pm
WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN THE REIKI II CLASS: In this one-day class you will learn the Reiki II symbols and how to use the symbols for maximum benefit. Receive Reiki II Attunment. Work with Reiki II practitioner techniques and meditations such as Koki-ho, Jacki-Kiri Joka-ho, and Enkaku chiryo. Discuss the Hayashi Healing Guide with demonstrations. Undergo a Planetary Harmony Healing ceremony. Discuss how to set-up a practice and give a full treatment experience to a client. Time will be given to practice Reiki on other students, as well as any other processes taught. 'Reiki, The Healing Touch' manual included.

Reiki I Class Only - $150.00.
A $50.00 deposit required, with $100.00 due in class.
Reiki II Class Only - $200.00
A $100.00 deposit required, with $100.00 due in class
Reiki I & !! - $350.00
A $150.00 deposit required, with $200.oo due in class

Deposit is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another of Kisma's classes at her discretion, provided appropriate advance notice of the cancellation is given.

Students who do not utilize the online FULL Payment option when registering for a class, will need to bring the balance of the tuition to class in the form of Cash or Check. Final registration will be handled at the beginning of the class. A PayPal receipt for deposit and/or Payment In Full is emailed to the student at the time of payment.
Tuition is the standard set by the International Center For Reiki Training.
REIKI I Tuition is $150 for a 1 day class ($50 deposit $100 due at class)
REIKI II Tuition is $200 for a 1 day class ($100 deposit $100 due at class)
REIKI I &II Weekend Tuition is $350 for 2 day class ($150 deposit $200 due at class)
REIKI ART Tuition is $225 for 1 day class ($100 deposit $125 due at class)
REIKI III / MASTER Tuition is $650 for 2 day class ($250 deposit $400 due at class)

Classes can be split to be taken on a day by day basis. For example some students can't take 2 days off in one weekend, so they take Reiki 1 one month, and Reiki 2 the next. Other class levels can also be split.
RETURNING STUDENTS
If you have taken a given class level with Kisma before, or with another teacher (a copy of your certificate must be provided), you can repeat the same level for a second time at reduced cost. If you bring a new first time student with you to the class, the review fee is waived.
Reiki I &II for returning students is $100 (or $50 for individual class)
Reiki ART for returning students is $100
Reiki III/Master for returning students is $175
If you have taken all 4 class levels with Kisma, you can repeat the same level for a second time FREE. Additional audits will require a $25 per class fee. For RETURNING STUDENTS, please contact KISMA via email or call 949-302-2754 to make arrangements.
There is no need to undergo any type of special preparation for class, dietary or meditative. However, it is important not to undergo any type of major energy or body cleansing programs the week prior to the class, as often folks will actually feel sick after these types of programs. As well, Master/Teacher Jessica Miller also encourages students to be "especially careful about making major changes, such as reductions in caffeine intake the week before the class. Class time is not the time to be going though caffeine withdrawal."
Wear comfortable clothes. If you have something small you would like to charge with the energy of the class (like a crystal or other sacred object), you may bring it to place on the altar during the class.
After the class I strongly recommend you spend time each day doing Reiki on yourself and others, especially for the first few weeks following the class.
Class times are approximate. Every class is different. Sometimes classes get out early, sometimes they get out up to 45 minutes late. Students are often tired after class, though some are energized, so plan your evenings accordingly.
Reiki I &II classes are 9am to 4pm
Reiki ARTS & III/Master classes are 9am to 4pm
Lunch break is usually 1 hour 15 minutes, and will start typically at 1pm. Lunch is usually out somewhere. Students can either go with Kisma or off on their own, though occasionally Kisma is not available at lunchtime.You are welcome to bring food and drink that will not require a refrigerator, stove, microwave, or utensils. If you do spill something you will be asked for a $20 donation towards cost of having the rug cleaned.
All Reiki-Light Healing events and classes are held in either Newport Beach (up to 6 participants) or Costa Mesa (large classes). Both locations are within a few miles of one another. The following suggestions for lodging apply to both locations.

The closest airport is the Santa Ana John Wayne Airport, which is only 5 minutes from either location. LAX is one hour north. San Diego Airport is 1 1/2 hours south. Ontario Airport is 2 hours east. Long Beach Airport is 45 minutes west.
